About the House

Vineyard House Drive was built in the late 1980’s by Georgi Van de Kamp of Van de Kamp Bakeries, Lawry’s restaurants and Lawry’s Seasoning Salts. On a trip to Australia, Mrs. Van de Kamp fell in love with the architecture of the houses in the Outback region of the country. When she returned to the U.S., she asked C. Wakefield Smith, her architect, to design a home based on the style she fell in love with in Australia. With the help from a local builder, her dream house was created.

In 2003, the current owners embarked upon a complete remodel of the property. With every attention to detail, uncompromised quality is apparent in every element of this home, from the high-grade construction, to the sophisticated and elegant interior. Impeccably decorated and maintained, Vineyard Drive House has been designed with the highest standards of comfort and quality in mind.
